Upgrading my looms performance.

I am currently in progress of upgrading my looms performance to meet the needs I'm about to put it through. Some of the terms won't mean squat to most so I'll try to keep it in layman's terms. I am adding 200 heddles (wires with loops in the center of their length that lift the warp threads) to each shaft (a picture frame looking contraption that holds the heddles in place.) I am also changing out the lift cables from their odd assortment of types to standard Harrisville Designs (the loom's manufacturer) cables. That will make things run much more smoothly I hope. I'm preparing a warp (the yarn that runs from back to front on the loom) to weave some material to produce comfortable novel face masks since it looks like we'll be using these for a while longer. Plus I don't think that they will go out of style anytime soon. My next project will be an extensive warp to produce tea towels. By extensive I'm talking about somewhere in the neighbourhood of 40 yards of warp. That will give me about 12 each of 9 different designs. Yes, I'm adventurous. But then most of you know that all ready. Suffice it to say I'm making use of this time while I am out of work while I continue to recover from my stroke. I'm also preparing a future in case I have to come out of work entirely, don't think that will happen but it doesn't hurt to be prepared. Well folks, that's all for now, take care and God bless!
