Sorting time!
I think all craftspeople who are given to yarns approach this point where they investigate their stash and just sit back in stunned silence. I bought a lot of my yarn about 20 years ago at warehouse sales that R&M Yarns did at their place first in Cartersville and later in Adairsville GA. I've not been to the new location in Georgetown TN yet, but sadly from what I see on the website I may not be missing much. I sincerely hope I'm wrong.
But back to yarn, is there such a thing as too much? In my book, if I have shelf space then there is no such thing as too much! :D I bought one of the stainless steel shelving units with 5 shelves. They're full, imagine that! I've got a wall in my loom room I am going to put shelving on for my books and stuff. I figure some of that "stuff" will be yarn. I've already been through my stash strength testing and donating from the stash, so what I have left is what I'll work with. Thankfully I already have some patterns in mind and am planning to throw on a warp next week after the paint dries. That's my other task back there, painting the room and putting in the shelving. I think I can safely said I'll be on Thorazine before the middle of the month! :D
Keep reading and I'll keep posting! God bless y'all.
